Anand Prakash

Luminous and radiant, Anand Prakash’s vivid abstracts express the elemental. His collection for Miranika is entitled, “Antahakaran”, which means “From my subconsciousness”. Operating outside the bounds of convention, his innovative methods and creative use of texture and brush are a vital part of each composition, exploring the unconscious emotions and desires that can be created and expressed in abstract form. Anand has participated and exhibited in 3 solo and over 30 group shows across the country and abroad. His work has received multiple awards & accolades including the National Academy Award by the Lalit Kala Academy in 2010. Anand’s work has been a part of various art films and collections including the ones at the Archaeology Department, Bhopal, KalaGram, Chandigarh and GV Pant Institute of Social Science, Allahabad to name a few. He lives and works in Bhopal.
