Spectacularly intricate and colorful, Shalini Anand’s works explore wondrous and magical fantasy. Influenced by the beauty of her own imagination, Shalini’s work is inherently fanciful, with fairies and angels appearing in surreal, painterly dreamscapes. Each piece requires a high degree of skill and workmanship, uniting a variety of mediums and artisanal techniques that sweep you away in a flight of fancy.
A Masters on Fine Arts, Shalini has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across the country. She is also the winner of the Young Artist National Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She lives and works in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
